USAGE

To measure an angle or rise

1. Place the bottom of the slant 100 flush with the surface to be measured.

2. Rotate the thumb-screw knob until the bubble in the vial is centered between the alignment Lines then read the angle or rise calibration mark at the index pointer.

3. Invert the Slant 100 to measure a downward slope.

To set an angle or rise

1. Rotate the thumb-screw knob until the index pointer is positioned at the desired angle or rise calibration mark.

2. Place the bottom of the Slant 100 flush with the surface to be set.

3. Rotate together until the bubble in the vial is centered between the alignment lines.

1. Range of measurement:

· 130deg-0-130deg (50deg-90deg-0-90deg-50deg)

2. Scale Calibration:

· Rise scale : 0.05 increments between 0.1 and 0.8,

· Then 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.0

· Angle Scale : 2 degree and 10 degree increments

3. Tolerance: +1deg
