Coating Thickness Gauge is used to measures coatings (Non Ferrous Coatings as Paint, Galvanising, Chrome, Electroplating etc. on Ferrous and Non Ferrous Work Pieces). The Principle of Coating Thickness Gauges is non-destructive principle (NDT). This application is of Magnetic Induction for Ferrous Work pieces and Eddy Currents for Non Ferrous Work pieces. The product has an inbuilt sensor which automatically detects the work pieces(Whether Ferrous or Non Ferrous) and then gives the reading directly on the screen.

The measurement of Surface roughness Comparator is not as straightforward as most other engineering measurements, such as length or angle or hardness; and in order to get good accuracy, expensive instruments are needed. These are often unsuitable for workshop use, where roughness of machined surfaces can usually be assessed conveniently and with sufficient reliability using visual and tactile (fingernail) comparison with a standard set of surfaces machined in the same way.Our most popular specimen. (MODEL 130). This set consists of 30 comparison specimens, covering six commonly-used machining methods (6 turned, 6 end-milled, 6 horizontally milled, 6 surface-ground, 3 lapped, 3 reamed/drilled. A label gives the Ra values of each specimen in both metric and imperial units. (Rz-value label available on request).

Conical Mandrel Test Apparatus is suitable for use with metal panels up to 0.8mm thick (flexible substrates up to 5mm thickness) e.g. polythenes or synthetic rubber.
